The Opportunity

Joneshouse Recruitment is proud to partner with a well-established provider in their search for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager.

This is an exciting chance to take full ownership of a brand-new 2-bed EBD children’s home (with solo placements expected at times). Within 12 months, you’ll also have the opportunity to become dual registered across an additional home, offering a wider management portfolio and genuine career progression.

As Registered Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the culture of the home, leading a committed staff team, and driving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the home with full accountability.

• Inspire, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team.

• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding standards, and company policies.

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment for children with EBD.

• Build strong, positive relationships with local authorities, stakeholders, and families.

• Drive continuous improvement with the aim of achieving Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a strong track record in children’s residential care. You’ll bring both passion and professionalism, alongside the resilience needed to thrive in a demanding but rewarding role.

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, or Deputy Manager ready to step up.

• Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and legislation.

• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).

• Resilient, empathetic, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
