Location: Milton Keynes (MK6)
Salary: Up to £36,000 OTE (including sleep-ins) – negotiable for the right candidate
Contract: Full Time, 40 hours per week

About the Role

Joneshouse Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join a dedicated residential childcare team supporting children and young people within a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.

The Role

  • Starting salary from £28,080 per annum, plus additional sleep-in payments

  • Up to £36,000 OTE, depending on experience and qualifications

  • Sleep-ins paid at £50 per shift (approximately 8 per month)

  • Shift pattern: 1 day on / 2 days off

  • Driving is an essential part of the role; a full UK manual driving licence is required


What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare (essential)

  • Previous experience working as a Senior Support Worker in a children’s residential setting

  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted regulations, inspections, supervision, and whistleblowing

  • Confident and committed driver, including motorway and night driving

  • Enhanced DBS (clean or willingness to obtain)
