EBSA SEN Teacher

Location: High Wycombe 
Salary: £27,456 – £43,014


Purpose of the Role

To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND and trauma histories

  • Use assessment data to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

  • Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development using trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches

  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning in line with the school’s behaviour policy

  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective classroom support


The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • QTS or QTLS

  • Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour

  • Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and behaviour management within special education settings

  • Ability to plan, deliver and assess effective teaching and learning

  • Resilience, empathy, adaptability and a passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
