Salary: £50,000
Bonuses: £5,000 Welcome Bonus + £5,000 Relocation Bonus + 21% Annual Salary Performance Bonus

About the Role

Joneshouse Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed EBD Children’s Home on Hayling Island. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional standards of care and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, child-centred care that supports positive outcomes and development.

• Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgets, and compliance.

• Lead, motivate, and support a team of care professionals.

• Ensure the safeguarding, protection, and wellbeing of children and young people.

• Oversee training and development to QCF Level 3 and conduct performance appraisals.

• Work collaboratively with professionals and external agencies.

• Act as a positive role model, promoting recovery, resilience, and growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role (Senior or Deputy Manager level).

• Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent).

• Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People’s Management).

• Strong understanding of safeguarding and Children’s Home Regulations.

• Confident leader with excellent communication and people management skills.

• Budget and financial management experience.

• Full driving licence and flexible approach to on-call duties.
