About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Family Centre in Doncaster (DN4). This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader to play a key role in shaping a nurturing, child-focused service designed to support families in achieving positive and sustainable outcomes.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the operational management of the centre, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and Family Assessment Centre Standards, while promoting a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for both parents and children.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Family Centre, ensuring high standards of care and support.

• Maintain full Ofsted compliance in line with the Care Standards Act, Family Assessment Centre Regulations, and relevant guidance.

• Oversee family assessments, ensuring they are conducted in a fair, transparent, and evidence-based manner.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote safeguarding and positive outcomes for families.

• Manage, mentor, and supervise a multidisciplinary staff team, ensuring effective training, support, and professional development.

• Lead Ofsted inspections, audits, and quality reviews, ensuring continuous improvement across the service.

• Work collaboratively with local authorities, social workers, and other external professionals to ensure best outcomes for families.

• Oversee the financial and operational performance of the service, managing budgets and resources efficiently.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, including regulatory notifications, risk assessments, and family progress reviews.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy Manager ready to step up) within a family centre or children’s residential setting.

• Strong working knowledge of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding procedures, and family assessment processes.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a staff team.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making abilities.

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
