About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new OFSTED-regulated children’s home in Leicester.

• Small home (max. 2 children, typically solo placement)

• Focused on providing high-quality, nurturing care for young people with emotional and behavioural needs

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the home in line with OFSTED regulations and Quality Standards

• Ensure outstanding safeguarding and care practices

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a strong staff team

• Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management

• Build positive relationships with local authorities, schools, and healthcare teams

• Prepare and lead OFSTED inspections

• Manage budgets effectively

• Support each child’s emotional, social, and educational development

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Manager or Deputy in a children’s residential setting

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)

• Strong knowledge of OFSTED regulations & safeguarding

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Genuine passion for improving the lives of young people

• Eligible to register with OFSTED as a Registered Manager
